Sometimes in infected root canal procedure i use modified LSTR (a combination of antibiotics and steroid ) and it brings me a good result.

maybe it's useful but pathogens that are resistant to multiple drugs emerge around. i mean by time it flares up again
you are right.Its only for dressing. Irrigation with H2o2 and hypo makes it more sterile.

I do agree that LSTR is effective as well cost effective means of filling in root canal treatment. It forms the cheaper, simpler and very effective alternative to root canal. The procedure involved in  LSTR does a great job in healing and restoring the affected tooth to normal form.
