Developed a dental assisting program to train disadvantaged students in underserved remote counties of California to increase trained auxiliary in an HPSA.

The only female dentist in a rural mountainous county roughly the size of Rhode Island.

Recipient of POHAP (Pediatric Oral Health Access Program) scholarship, awarded by the California Dental Association Foundation and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, to provide pediatric training to underserved patients in regions where no specialists practiced.
