Well Harvey, you are correct that bad breath can be caused by many factors. Due to Poor Dental Hygiene one can suffer from bad breath. Bad breath can be caused by plaque build up, leftover food substances, or bacteria around your gums, but the chief culprit of bad breath is the back of your tongue. It is vital that you should drink plenty of water and having low carbohydrate protein rich diet with fruits and salad intake helps you a lot. Your Saliva plays an important role in avoiding Halitosis, therefore eating apples, oranges and other citrus can increase salivary flow washing away particles of food. However, if a person experiences dry mouth or xerostomia, your chances of having bad breath increases significantly. Nice sharing.
